This week on Extra Lives, Nathan Osborn explains his plan for a Zelda themed Rock Opera inspired by The Protomen, and Allen explains something resembling a Rock Opera based on Smash Bros. Adventure, intrigue, and console wars await within!

This week, we welcome special guest Nathan Osborn, friend and local musician extraordinaire! We take on the LAST in our summer of Nintendo Adventure books, this time going on a Zelda helmed adventure. No literally, this one stars Princess Zelda! Who also turns out to be kind of a racist. Link is super annoying at first but he's trapped in a crystal, so bonus, I guess.

Check out The Taylor Machine, Nathan's band, on Facebook! You can also find their album, Fetch, on iTunes! It's a great listen.

Drew Allen is back for a very special LUIGI adventure, where someone pisses on Luigi's rug, he acts like a creep, gets hired by Koopa to find his daughter "Taken" style, and wait Luigi is making the whole thing up, isn't he.

Check out Drew's work by heading over to Geek Melee, an awesome geek culture blog, and to Narrative Imperative for some funny sketches and short films. Check out their most recent sketch "We Need to Call Brian."

Evil clowns and Fullmetal Plumbers fight mixed up Shou Tucker style creations in this really weird episode of Beware and Warning!

Our summer Nintendo event continues with the Dave Mercier, creator of the hilarious comic Mercworks! On this week's episode, Princess Peach is in trouble because mushroom culture is inherently sexist, Luigi denies the holocaust and is racist against crabs with disabilities, and it is confirmed that Mario Bros the Movie is 100% canon.

Check out Dave's work on Webtoon for current issues of Mercworks, and GoComics for remastered versions of his archive! Also follow him on Twitter for funnies

Kyle McCluskey returns this week as we start our first episode of a special summer Nintendo event! Join us on a Mario style Choose Your Own Adventure where basically Koopa is Hitler and does a genocide on the Yoshis while you're asleep. It's basically Yoshi's Island, but directed by Quentin Tarantino. Except you're not a baby, and Luigi has some serious anger issues, and someone brought licorice jellybeans. The MONSTERS.
